To help reduce fraud, unauthorized transactions, chargebacks, and payment disputes, NoOnes allows offer makers to enable a No Third-Party Payments requirement on their offers.
When this setting is enabled, all payments must be sent from and received into accounts owned by the users participating in the trade.
Users will be required to acknowledge this requirement before proceeding with the trade.
Offers with No Third-Party Payments enabled may receive enhanced dispute protection when violations occur.
A third-party payment occurs when funds are sent from or received by an account that does not belong to the user participating in the trade.
Examples include:
A friend paying on your behalf.
A relative sending or receiving payment for you.
A customer paying directly to a seller.
An employee or business partner making payment for another user.
Any account that does not belong to the user completing the trade.
When buying crypto on an offer with No Third-Party Payments enabled:
Payment must be sent from an account in your own name.
You must be the owner or authorized holder of the payment account used.
Before proceeding, you will be asked to confirm:
I confirm I am paying from my own account and no third party is involved.
If payment is sent from another person's account, your dispute protection may be limited or lost.
When selling crypto on an offer with No Third-Party Payments enabled:
Payment must be received into an account in your own name.
You must be the owner or authorized holder of the account receiving funds.
Before proceeding, you will be asked to confirm:
I confirm I am receiving payment to my own account and no third party is involved.
Receiving payment through a third party may affect dispute protection and dispute outcomes.

If an offer has No Third-Party Payments enabled and evidence shows that a third party was involved, NoOnes may consider this during dispute review.
This may include situations where:
Payment was sent from an account that does not belong to the buyer.
Payment was received into an account that does not belong to the seller.
The user falsely confirmed that no third party was involved.
Depending on the circumstances, the violating party may receive reduced or no dispute protection.
Each dispute is reviewed individually based on the available evidence and the specific facts of the trade.
This update was made in response to feedback from our community.
By strengthening dispute handling for offers that prohibit third-party payments, we aim to:
Reduce fraud.
Reduce chargeback risks.
Prevent unauthorized payments.
Give offer makers greater control over their trades.
Create a safer marketplace for buyers and sellers.
If you enable No Third-Party Payments on your offer, users should expect to use only accounts that belong to them throughout the trade.
