How to add your virtual Visa Card to ApplePay Wallet

Info

Please note: Tap-and-pay and mobile wallet support (Apple Pay and Google Pay) only works for cards issued after July 9, 2026.

On an iPhone, you can change your device region instantly without any penalties. Unlike Google, changing your iPhone's device region does not change your Apple ID country, does not affect your App Store purchases, and will not mess up your active subscriptions. It simply tells the phone to unlock US system features (like the US Apple Wallet provisioning system).

Step-by-Step Guide for Apple Pay

Step 1: Temporarily change the iPhone Region

  1. On your iPhone, go to Settings > General > Language & Region

  2. Tap Region and change it to United States.

(Don't worry, this won't change your App Store account or delete anything; it just changes how dates and currencies are formatted temporarily).

Step 2: Add the card manually in Apple Wallet

  1. Open the native Wallet
    app on your iPhone.

  2. Tap the + (Add)
button in the top right corner.

  3. Select Debit or Credit Card
    and tap Continue.

  4. Tap Enter Card Details Manually at the bottom.

  5. Securely copy and paste (or type) your Virtual Visa card number, expiration date, and CVV.

  6. When prompted for the Billing Address, manually enter the US address provided for your virtual card:

    • 3401 N.Miami

    • Ave.Ste 230

    • Miami, ZIP 33127

    • USA

Step 3: Switch your region back

  1. Once the card is successfully activated in your Apple Wallet, go back to Settings > General > Language & Region.

  2. Change your Region back to your actual home country.

The virtual Visa card will remain securely saved and fully functional in your Apple Wallet, ready to use for contactless payments anywhere you go.

Before you get started, please keep the following fee details in mind:

⚠️ Important Fee Notice: A fee of 0.25% applies to the total transaction amount whenever you make an in-store contactless payment (using Apple Pay or Google Pay at a physical point-of-sale terminal) with your virtual Visa card.
